Terms of Use

Article 1: Purpose

These Terms of Use (ToU) govern access to and use of the UACAZ website, published by the Union of Approved Consumer Associations of Zoban (UACAZ), a 1901 law association. Any connection and use of the site implies unreserved acceptance of these ToU.

Article 2: Publisher and host

Publisher: Union of Approved Consumer Associations of Zoban (UACAZ), registered office: CHEZ CLCV971 - Building A 10, Les Lauriers residence, 97110 Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. Contact: contact@uacaz-zoban.fr. Host: OVH, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, guaranteeing hosting located in the European Union.

Article 3: Site access

Access is free and open to all. UACAZ strives to ensure site availability but cannot be held responsible for any interruptions.

Article 4: Intellectual property

All content (texts, images, logos, videos, sounds) is the exclusive property of UACAZ or its partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification or exploitation is prohibited.

Article 5: User-generated content

If the site allows publication of comments, reviews or testimonials, the user undertakes to publish only content respectful of applicable laws and third-party rights, and grants UACAZ a non-exclusive and free license for representation and reproduction for online publication of said content. UACAZ reserves the right to moderate or delete any illegal content.

Article 6: Personal data

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act. The user has rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation and portability. These rights can be exercised by email: contact@uacaz-zoban.fr. UACAZ undertakes to respond within one month, extendable to two months in case of complexity. The user can also file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Article 7: Cookies and trackers

The site uses cookies to improve user experience and measure audience (Google Analytics/Matomo). On first connection, the user is informed by a cookie banner and can accept or refuse their deposit. Non-essential cookies are only deposited with user consent. Retention period is limited to maximum 13 months.

Article 8: Security

The site is protected by HTTPS protocol (SSL). Hosting is provided in France/EU. Regular backups and technical measures (firewall, access control, encryption) are in place. However, UACAZ cannot guarantee absolute security on the Internet.

Article 9: Site use

The user undertakes not to disseminate illegal, defamatory, insulting content, contrary to copyright or third-party rights. UACAZ reserves the right to block access or report to authorities any proven abuse.

Article 10: Liability

UACAZ cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damage related to site use, including in case of viruses or access via external links.

Article 11: Modification of ToU

UACAZ reserves the right to modify these ToU. In case of substantial modification, users will be informed by notification on the site and/or by email.

Article 12: Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These ToU are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Guadeloupe, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers.
